Labor Day Weekend

This upcoming Labor Day weekend we will not have practice on Monday but we will have practice on Saturday.

 

Sunday Practice

Starting September 13, we will be having Sunday evening practices from 5-6 pm.  Our program has been doing really well the past two months so the next step is to have a practice that is open to all members with a first come/sign-up, first serve basis. Sundays will be an experiment to see how the process will work.  In the next week we will unveil how to sign up for the Sunday practice.  If all goes well then, we can look to expand the process in October. 

 

Twitter and Facebook

Practices have been posted on twitter and facebook.  By getting a preview, this will allow you to get a feel for what is coming and better understand practice.  Spread the word – share and retweet so others can enjoy the practice!

 

Get Lower in the Water

When you are resting, stay low in the water.  Specifically, do not stand up all the way.  It is best to have swimmers low with shoulders in the water.  Here is the reason: exercise increases respiration rate and increases respiration force; by keeping low your exhaled droplets won’t travel as far.
